Quant home town restaurant in a small town in western Pennsylvania. We have dined here many times before, and food is consistently good, and wait staff is always pleasant and attentive. And on this night Aaron was our waiter.
What We Ordered: Thursday nights are all about the fish dinners, and they’re absolutely worth the trip. As of 5/7/2026, the broiled cod dinner is $13.99 and comes with two sides — (I ordered a baked potato with butter and sour cream, plus a fresh salad with ranch on the side). The fried cod dinner is $12.99 and also includes two sides — (my husband ordered a baked potato with butter and sour cream and a side of spaghetti). Both meals arrive with fresh bread.
The broiled cod is cooked just right — tender, flaky, and seasoned simply so the fish shines on its own. The fried cod is beautifully done as well: golden, light, and never burnt or overly crunchy. We like to make it our own by adding a slice of American cheese on top and asking for their hot onion sauce — a delicious combination that takes the dish to another level.
Price & Value: These 2 fish dinners are reasonably priced with decent portions, as we usually have leftovers to take home.
Final Thoughts: If you like fish and are looking for a reasonable price fish dinner, stop in at Persichetti’s on a Thursday night. (Please excuse the couple of bites that we ate. We couldn’t wait!)
